House Republicans discuss a comprehensive immigration plan

The Senate passes HB 2577, an effort to establish a comprehensive plan for dealing with illegal immigration in Arizona.

A series of budget bills that represent the bulk of a nearly $9.9 billion dollar state budget is heard by the Appropriations Committees in the House and Senate. We take a look at the
tax relief
part of the plan.

HCR 2056, an effort to amend a part of the State Constitution related to property taxes, is heard in committee.

Lawmakers talk about bills they sponsored that might have slipped under your radar:

The sponsor of HB 2440, Representative Andy Biggs of Gilbert, tells us how his bill protects people who choose to participate in the public process.

And Representative Pete Rios of Hayden explains HCR 2015, his effort to ensure that judges in rural counties continue to be elected rather than appointed as is the case in Maricopa and Pima counties.
