Harry Mitchell who resigned to run for Congress.
Tuesday, March 21st - Kirk Adams is sworn-in
as State Representative from Mesa, District 19 (replacing Chuck
Gray who was sworn-in March 15th to fill the Senate seat of late
Senator Marilyn Jarrett).
Friday, March 10th - State Senator Marilyn
Jarrett of Mesa's District 19 passed away.
Thursday, March 2nd - The Senate passes
the English Language Learner bill (HB 2064) that was passed by
the House a few days earlier. Now it's in the hands of the Governor.
